    It’s doable. 175 partition at 2850 from my 24” 280 AI. Long bearing surface on those partitions.

    They’re fantastic. I prefer them over Talleys, just upgrading to 30mm rings of the same kind. They have some small paint(?) chips, but it’s only cosmetic. I’ve never had to lap any pair of these I have had. They’re 6-48 screws, so normal 700 thread pattern. $65 to your door. They run at $99 MSRP.

    you may run into an issue with too much acid for the solution. I think I posted a link to a study done on the ebonizing process. It has all you need to know about it.
