Old scopes... that work
I have several old scopes. The Bausch and Lomb 2.5-8 scopes are still a decent scope by today’s standards. They fit the era of these old Sakos and are still useful while period correct for these older rifles. The top one is a Unertl 4X… -
Mike Venturino
For anyone that knew Mike, he just passed after a bout with heart disease as a result of poor care at a hospital several years ago. He was a great person and well liked as a gun writer. This is a sad day for those that knew him…- shrapnel

Is A Sharps Enough Gun For Gophers?
Yup. I spent several years and hundreds of dollars trying to make black powder and paper patch bullets work. It wasn’t very successful and I found smokeless and grease groove bullets make all 3 of my original 40-90 Sharps, more than accurate enough to shoot gophers consistently…- shrapnel

Centerfire rifles - your path

Suppressor
I have one on my 204 Ruger. I was shooting it and switched guns to my 222 mag. It felt like a 30-06 compared to the 204 suppressed. I didn’t realize they were recoil reducing as well. I got another one for my 300 WBY. It isn’t as good at recoil reduction as a brake, but it takes the sting out... -
