Well we don't get to see many bucks taken from Washington....not even sure if there's anybody else from this state on here. Anyway, I drew one of the state's Late season tags which aloud me to hunt a certain unit from Nov. 1st to the 18th. The unit is known for having some bruiser migratory...
Just thought I'd let out a yell that I drew a Landowner Alternate tag. I got an "in" on a lease just NW of Lewistown and put in for a landowner only deer tag in March but didn't get drawn.
I immediately put my name on the Alternates List. Got notified last week that there was 11 leftover tags...
Anyone got any ideas for a good plaque for a European Mount Elk? I've thought of doing something with wood, but I'm just not that creative. I've thought about just getting the basic Euro plaque from Van Dykes, but don't know if it would hold it. It's not a monster, but a pretty decent 6x6...
Thought I'd throw up some pictures of my trip to Africa this last October. I know Moosie's heading over there sometime this summer, give him something to think about for a while.
I spent two and a half weeks back there with my father-in-law who has been there several times, but for me it was...

The Elk section has been a little slow lately so I figured I throw up some pics of my trip back to Central MT. I went back the second week of September with Archery tags in my pocket good for an Elk, Deer, and an Antelope. I went back for 6 days, so I had my work cut out for me.

I figured since this section is a little "slow" maybe I should throw up a few pics from my Moose hunt this past September.
My father-in-law and I went the Northern Alberta for my first Moose hunt. Both of our expectations were pretty high. His was anything in the 60's, mine more like anything...

Bambi.....rather than hyjacking your thread, I thought I would go ahead and start another. She went to Namibia back in Oct. with her dad....(I stayed home with the kids hump ) Next Oct./07 is my turn though! hump
Anyway we practiced shooting with her pretty much all summer. She definately...
After waiting six years for his 'any bull' tag and being in a chair for 30 years, my uncle finally got his bull. He killed some good deer and elk before his accident when he was 21, but this is his first big bull since. He was pretty excited as where all of us. With the help of his huntin'...
Here's my 2004 WY. Muley
My 2004 WY. Antelope
My 2004 Wa. Muley
This last one is of my son, Hunter, with my Wa. late buck, and my daughter Peyton with my cousins general season Wa. buck.
I took this buck in WA. this year....as you can tell hunting conditions were not ideal....anyway, thought Moosie might appreciate this pic.
Only thing I'm missing is an orange hat that says...dork, right Moosie?
