Scope has been mounted on a rifle (and maybe shot a few times, I can’t remember) but never carried in the field. Light scratches on scope tube from mounting, but you have to hold it just right in the light to see them.
Free CDS has not been used.
$300 shipped to lower 48.
Will be headed down for a wedding next week. Where should we eat? I'd like to get some good seafood and Asian food. We will be staying in Santa Rosa. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. Thanks.
I decided to restock one of my rifles. It's a Winchester 70 Classic Stainless in 7 STW. I bought a Bansner unfinished stock off Brownells and went to work. Lots of sanding and a few rattle cans of paint later and this is what I ended up with.
If anyone is thinking about messing with one of...
Anybody like rowing a driftboat upstream of the put in below Holter Dam?
Anybody like rowing upstream a few yards to drift through a run again?
Go read the rules. You won't be able to do that if it passes as-is.
I like parts of the initiative. But this part sucks. Time to flood with comment.

Score is...
So I was out hunting this weekend and stopped near the head of a drainage to glass for critters.
Much to my surprise, a sow grizzly with three cubs walked out of the trees. I watched them continue up through the rocks and into the cliffs. I lost view of them eventually, but all I can guess is...

Really? They're going to give him 60 days? Imagine if some a-hole did this on an access road leading to your hunting spot. He wouldn't have to open it until the season was over.
FS should go up there with bolt cutters instead of "asking" him and giving 60 days to comply
As a hunter/fisherman, where would you pick?

Beattie Gulch seems to be quite the place. There have been a few attacks there in recent years too.
What I don't understand is how the bears got to the elk before the hunter. I wonder if he left it for a while because it was wounded or what...
What do ya think?
I guess there is no way to know for sure...when its dark you can't see them spooking...
But say a critter can see your headlamp as you hike up the other side of a drainage, 1/2 mile away?
Seems to me like it wouldn't worry them too much. I've hunted places where you can see...
Time to bite the bullet and buy a Mystery Ranch.
Gotta sell off this one to do so.
I have a Blacks Creek Canadian in Mossy Oak Treestand. I used it one season. There are no tears, rips, or excessive wear. Also (sadly) no bloodstains.
