Well said and correct. I honestly don’t know. Hopefully the department can issue a press release as soon as they can to give the public an accurate idea of what’s going on.
I know it’s tough when facts are few and speculation is rampant. The department needs time to work through their process...
Not looking for a fight and yes highly likely.
Probably because they were swayed by a very misinformed opinion piece that unfortunately had quite a few great names in conservation attached to it.
I understand how the optics of this may appear, especially given the departments track record the past several years. That being said, if/ when the facts become public surrounding her departure I think folks will quickly realize this is not in any way political. I for one will be taking a big...
I think they ran the 4.7 as the smaller V8 through 2009 and in 2010 introduced the 4.6.
The 4.7 will be a little underwhelming in that truck power wise, but it’ll last forever. I’ve owned several 1st gen tundras with that motor and had zero issues. You should buy it if the price is right.

Collar data and knowing how animals use landscapes is critical, I agree. However that information needs to be safeguarded and only accessible to certain folks. Migrations and pinch points could just as easily disappear from that info being misused.
Respectfully I disagree. I think it is something that needs to be considered. I don’t have faith that the state would be proactive enough to get ahead of it.
Agreed. Although one of the major concerns folks have is one of these on x type companies doing a FOIA and publishing the data. Imagine a layer titled migration pinch points and the implications that could have.
Reached out to three reps yesterday I know, all republicans. Two responded with excitement, but both mentioned that they wouldn't be surprised this ends up back in the courts.
Here’s my Grandfather in Missoula in 1961 with a buck he killed up the Rattlesnake. I’ll have to see if I can dig up the pictures of my other Grandfather that shot some giant mule deer in NV in the 50’s.
