Was thinking about taking my 1980's M70 Winchester 30-06, but went to the range this morning for some "practice". A few shots through my Tikka 7 Rem Mag reminded me why it will be in the truck this fall. The Tikka loves 160 gr Federal with Nosler Partitions or TSX.

So far, our dogs have avoided things of sentimental value. But our springer has a liking for cardboard, in particular the tube out of a roll of toilet paper. Not sure how he does it, but he will pull the tube out with minimal damage to the paper.
I have a crossbow, but it never even went to the woods in 2 years. Still loving my compound. Had shoulder surgery 4 years ago and with help of great surgeon and excellent PTs, I was shooting again in 6 months.
