Powder valley and midsouth list CCI 250 as 94-99 per 1000. Plus whatever hazmat would be. They at least have links to sign up for in stock notifications and then you can hustle to the site and get some if available.
The other day our local store had rl-17 for 85/#. Essentially what you’d pay for online with hazmat. I looked at all the big sites and no one had it. Rock and a hard spot.
Recoil is great but not as good as a break. But the sound reduction is like wearing a set of ear plugs. When shooting in groups or teams you can talk in normal voices or whispers with out needing to yell cause of ear pro. With kids hunting it’s amazing. Quiet. Not the exponentially high ( or...
I called them when I was close to the same. They said that because they are having so many suppressor getting approved they are a little behind. I think they weren’t ready for the change in ATf’s speed. Everything else for me is seamless. Just the part from approved to in my hands is frustrating.
You can make the hunt as easy or as hard as you want. My stalk on my cow was about a mile and she ran across a forest service road and died 50 yds from where we got the rigs.
My place is in the FoxPark area and we would drive around and spot from the road near the creeks, willows, and aspens...
I had that tag last year. Lots of fun. The hardest part was finding one with out a calf. Lots of area to scope out. I arrowed mine end of September. Once early October rolled around the cows seemed to be easier to find with out calves.
I have the banish 30 and the banish 30 gold. The 30 gold does better at taming my Weatherby 30-378 (probably the closest rifle I have to a rum). I use the 30 in the 7” configuration. I don’t notice much difference in audible noise or recoil reduction.
I don’t have a backcountry so I can’t make...
The email is usually in your box by 6 am (mt). At least when I go back and search results it has been before I wake up.
Here is to hoping we strike the lottery and get the tag of our dreams.
I’ve used them multiple times and have been happy with their service. This time the USPS lost my CLEO notice and a second was sent. So no fault of SC. I’ll use them again if I see a good deal.
Moose and Bison for me (drew a cow moose tag recently). My son has more points for moose than I do. So here is to hoping. I’m also hopeful that people didn’t realize they split the Snowy unit up into three (there were lots of emails about it so I bet people know).
Never had the sheep or goat...
My second can that was bought but submitted to atf 7 days later. Finally was approved. 143 days. Better then the 270 something a year ago.
Sorry @MTorWY that was close to forever. Especially with all the quick approvals of late.
Also fhf makes a cool way to carry the bipod when hiking. I tried pockets on my pants and they were just too short. I put mine on the bottom of my bino harness. But it’s got an easy molle attachment...
