Couple of weeks ago wife & I were heading out to hike, passed one of the Nature Conservancy parking area's. Had to take a double look. Yeah, wasn't seeing things.

SE WI yesterday, thought I heard 70000 without power late Saturday, Wife & I went out to our hunting area after clearing roughly 16" heavy snow. Three different roads blocked with fallen trees. Nixed hiking, didn't feel safe.

I assume its diesel? Block heater will usually warm the antifreeze and definitely aid in starting just may not unjell(not sure thats a word). As stated earlier, diesel 911 if its gelled and possibly (if you need it soon) throw a tarp over and torpedo heat under.
I would replace the fuel filter.
