SO my 82 year old father has determined he wants to burn his mule deer points while he can. He booked an Alberta Mule deer hunt in November and just received news that he drew a guided hunt in Nev@da's Unit $even.

I'm looking forward to accompanying him on these guided hunts and I'm kind of amazed I don't feel that twinge of jealousy I thought I would have. I'm sincerely hoping we can get him on the best bucks of his life.

I think at 82 and a life of hunting a variety of areas and big game and birds, he deserves a couple nice guided hunts. I'm planning to accompany him and hold his shells if necessary.

Way to go .. congrats on the tags

Dang that’s cool, I hope he gets some really good ones and I hope the guide(s) can accommodate. Looking forward to pics and story-time!

Good luck. Perhaps my best hunting memory is taking my 91 year old grandpa hunting. No shame in a guide, for situations like this especially. Looking forward to pics and the story.
