There’s a good chance you are in cheat grass country so plan the timing of your removal with that in mind. Cheat grass establishes quick after a disturbance and out competes everything. I’d love to have a Ruger #1, but as mentioned earlier they are way too expensive for the hit or miss reviews regarding accuracy and trigger quality. I will always wonder what could have been if I’d pulled the trigger when the heavier barrel .257 wby was available…- TX Trophy Hunter

I got a 7 day ban from the slippery slope a few months ago and it still doesn’t let me log in. I can go to the website but every time I go to login I get an error message. I’m thinking the “7 day” time out was more permanent. Anyone else ever had that happen?- TX Trophy Hunter

It’s location dependent. If you drive down a valley in MT it appears that way, but it’s more related to the fact that the private property is down by the rivers and creeks where everything is more lush.
