Laid in it with the liner for 10 minutes in my living room and it was way too hot 🤣😂 I imagine it’d be pretty comfortable in the 20s and 30s. It is a little tight though, so i can wear my warmest base layers or something but I won’t be squeezing a puffy coat into that bag.

I was looking at the Kelty cosmic 0 but it was 5 lbs like the one I already have. I was hoping to cut that weight in half, and thankfully it was a perfect weekend to come up on a nice Big Agnes for Memorial Day weekend

So I ended up getting the Big Agnes Anthracite 20 and a Sea to Summit Liner for around 185 bucks, the tent is something Sportsman’s had on display a couple weeks ago and I had checked out, was half price this weekend! $77 (everything listed was on sale this weekend) And a Sea to Summit pad for...

Id like to keep both at <$200 each and I have a one man backpacking tent that I like the size of but it doesn’t breathe for nothing! I wake up condensation dripping from the walls like a Miami nightclub. No sleeping bag would withstand that, so it’s kind of a must… I like bivy style but I don’t...

Dang that thing compresses super small too! That’d be kickass— just what I’m lookin for but idk if I can talk the wife into letting me go over budget lol Id like to get a nicer lightweight backpacking tent too so that’s part of why the budget is reduced. Like to have my cake and eat it too…...

How do all you feel about the bag liners? add heat? For the price of a Kelty 20 and a nice sea to summit liner I’m less than a 0 degree bag in weight and price. But I do sleep kinda cold outside of summer

I have the dough, it’s not about that. I could have a million dollars but you can’t make me UNfrugal.

I was looking at that one! It’s still 200 and I’ve read a couple reviews about it being like an overpriced trash bag but most other reviews say good things! Thanks for your suggestion, I’m glad someone on here’s tried one of those

The bag and pad id really like to get new. A tent don’t need to be. I got a sea to summit pad yesterday and I’ve been shopping around for bags for months but can’t settle on anything. I’d like to keep it under 200, hopefully 0 but okay with 10-20 degree. Sub 4 lbs would be nice. What do you use?

    Neck shots.

Don’t need hundreds, just the one in front of you at that moment. Not every situation calls for a neck shot… glad I took my neck shot… bet the OP is glad he took that neck shot on that bull… FOO

    Neck shots.

You shoot em in the boiler room they still run. Not with a neck shot, they drop. You miss the boiler room they run even farther, and could hit guts or ruin shoulders. AND you may not know if you got a good hit so you hit em again, maybe even again! Risking more of the above. Not with a neck...
