I'm betting inflation doesn't have much to do with whether or not tag prices are adjusted. And, I bet it has nothing to do with if hunters buy them or not. mtmuley
I was living out of state in 1996 and had been for awhile. Missed my Montana elk hunting. Ponied up the $400 bucks or so I think for a combo NR tag deal. I would pay that now as a resident. mtmuley
I haven't hunted in areas with grizzly bears a whole lot. But, I hunt like they are everywhere here in Montana recently. Turning up in a lot of places. Just have to be aware and deal with it. mtmuley
A lot of bucks killed in 261 before the spilt were taken in what is now 262. The split forced guys to pick a unit. Public was always tougher, and tougher yet now. The years haven't been kind to 261. mtmuley
