So this is why Mallards are called “puddle ducks”..

They use to fly into our koi pond and then eat the bird seed that fell out of our bird feeder.

I had a pair using my above ground pool last Spring. To be fair, it needed to be cleaned after the fall and winter, so it kind of makes sense.
